# You Might Be the Problem By:: [[Brian Heath]] 2023-05-14 There is always a chance that you are the problem. Perhaps you are the backward one. You are the one who doesn't get it. You are the one with all the issues. However, it's hard to say what version of reality is real. Is it your perception or everyone else's that is true? Furthermore, what is right and what is wrong? Is the right answer the one with the most votes? All-in-all, the world is too relative and fluid to prove the eternal right and wrong answers, especially in social organizations. Because our lives are short, laws and cultural norms only seem to permanently draw the lines between right and wrong. A study of history will show you how fluid the situation really is. It is naive to think that what we believe today will be right even 10 years from now. So, how does one even attempt to understand if they are the problem, if it's just a run of bad luck, or if the world needs to change? The first step is to ask the question, think, and doubt. The second step is to ask people you trust what they think and then think some more. The final step is to do something about it. It doesn't have to be a big action - small actions will do just fine. Thinking without action is just an imaginary reality, and you'll only get further lost in the maze. Rolling a boulder up the hill regularly is more meaningful than thinking all the time. The question requiring thought is what boulder do you want to push up the hill today. Is it the self-improvement boulder for the sake of yourself or the human solidarity boulder for the sake of your fellow humans? Maybe it's the same boulder - you just have to start pushing it. #### Related Items [[Solidarity]] [[Reflection]] [[The Human Condition]] [[Knowledge]] [[Thinking]] [[Purpose]] [[Truth]] [[Beliefs]]
