# Types of Managers - The Caregiver By:: [[Ross Jackson]] 2023-01-16 The caregiver is a manager focused on the well-being of the workforce and the organization. This type of manager does not seem to be driven by advancement. Rather, the caregiver is focused on truly being present for those benefitting from direct, authentic, attention and care. When this is accomplished organizationally, the caregiver contributes to projects with focus and humility. When this is accomplished personally, the caregiver listens to employees and responds to the person individually. Being a caregiver cannot be faked; it requires sincerity and consistency. A caregiver is not a caregiver some of the time. It is a way of being and people come to rely on it. The caregiver manager contributes a great deal to the solidarity within organizations. #### Related Items [[Management]] [[Business]] [[Types of Managers]]
