# Tomorrow and Every Day After

The future is nebulous. It contains tomorrow and every day after. When one worries about or works toward the future, how near or far is one’s focus? In the near future, one can probably make minor adjustments to the status quo. In the distant future, one can radically redefine it. If our work is to be transformative, it must consider the future. It must also contain some form of solidarity. Things change when people change. There is a saying that goes, “We are not all in the same boat; we are all in the same storm.” What we do and what we don’t do affects others. We can help make things better. As we approach an uncertain future, it is reassuring to know that it is only tomorrow and every day after and that we can do things to help.
