# The Faith Required to Put it Out There By:: [[Brian Heath]] 2024-05-02 Putting something "out there" is often a necessary danger if one wants to climb the ladder or stand out. One will likely become alienated if one ventures too far outside the status quo at the wrong time. But, if one only ever follows the crowd, the best one can hope for is the worst kind of mediocrity. This mediocrity is not satisfying or meaningful; it is merely going through the motions and never fully aware of one's situation. It will still feel dangerous when one strikes the right balance, but one will find unexpected allies. These allies applaud one's effort, and some will even begin to push the bolder ones. One will never know what the right balance or timing is. It's a leap of faith. This faith is often not a fleeting feeling but one built from years of reflection, questioning, and study. With it, one can confidently move forward and at least be assured in what one believes and the meaning given to one's life. #### Related Items [[Faith]] [[Beliefs]] [[Opinions]] [[Change]] [[Status Quo]] [[Reflection]] [[Thinking]]
