# Probability of Making a Difference

Can any employee of an organization really make a difference? In other words, can you flip a coin and get heads 25 times in a row? Statistically, yes it can and will happen. Practically, you are often better off just leaving. If you've only worked for large organizations, you may think this does not apply to smaller ones. This is not true. It might be even harder at smaller places as now everything is personal and beliefs are well-trenched. So, should you stop trying? That's a deeply personal question with many implications. But, I would venture to say pushing the boulder up the hill just one more time might be worth it.
