Spring is a time of new beginnings. After a long winter, hope emerges as one can be out in the world comfortably. New life abounds. Birds sing. Sunshine replaces darkness. One is likely happier and potentially filled with hope. The seasons produce a natural cycle of hope, work, and rest. Even with the advancements in heating and air conditioning that make the seasons somewhat incidental, they influence our lives, behaviors, and traditions. As we enter springtime, it is useful to tap into the hope provided to us naturally. Going outside and sitting in the sunshine with one’s eyes closed might be all one needs to generate a positive thought. Combining this hope with action becomes powerful. Let’s emerge from the collective darkness of winter and do something to make our brief moment in the sun meaningful and positive.
