# Devoid of Content By:: [[Ross Jackson]] 2023-09-03 Some make a career by talking. They find that they can present themselves as in charge and confident by monopolizing the discussion. They end up talking a lot but saying very little. What they end up saying is largely devoid of content. If one can observe such individuals frequently, one will observe that they have an undoubtedly limited script. They have one or two long stories that they like to tell to occupy the time. The stories are propaganda. The stories are used to convey how the individual is a leader and gets results. At best, the story is based on reality. Through continued observation, it becomes clear that these types of leaders, like the stories they tell, are devoid of content. They don’t add anything productive to the current issue being faced. They don’t motivate the workforce. They only take up time and indicate indirectly that whatever is currently being done will form the basis for the next story to be told. Content matters. Authentic content matters even more. AI has reduced the cost of generating content to nearly zero. The content being created by AI lacks authenticity. It is much like the leader telling stories. Workers seeking authenticity and solidarity aren’t fooled. #### Related Items [[Solidarity]] [[Authenticity]] [[Storytelling]] [[Strategy]] [[Content]] [[Talking]]
