# After the Dust Settles By:: [[Ross Jackson]] 2022-11-09 Focused work requires effort. Whether it is a political campaign or the development of a strategic plan for an organization, work is required to bring a task to fruition. In the process, the potential exists that human relationships will suffer. People frequently hold different political ideologies. It is not uncommon for those within the organization to disagree in terms of strategic direction. It is easy to let a spirit of competition become entrenched in animosity. After the dust settles, work remains to be done. Within organizations and societies working [[together]] makes [[success]] more likely. This is easier to achieve in organizations for a host of reasons. Hopefully, within our society, we agree on enough core issues that we can find room to work together to make our world better. This won’t be easy, but it is worth our sincere effort. Analysis can assist in discovering areas of agreement that transcend partisan ideology and enable us to see each other as fellow citizens. We can find areas of solidarity.
