# A New Paradoxical Tribe

There are many ways to look at a problem. Most people see this instinctually or very quickly when you point it out to them. For example, how can political parties propose different ways to solve the same problem? Clearly, there are many ways to look at things. The question is which is the best way to solve the problem? Here we run into the sticky situation of beliefs. Some people want to use the scientific method to determine which solution is best, others align themselves to their religious beliefs to pick a solution, and still, others reject the notion of a solution. What we've seen in the last few years is how strong and stubborn humans are when it comes to their beliefs. They blind us from seeing any other perspective along with what is wrong with ours.
Perhaps you aren't this way, and you can see other perspectives. Does that make you weird? Should you be worried that you see good and bad arguments on both sides? Maybe you feel pressured to pick a side or be voted out of the tribe. However, what if there are a lot more people like you who see these different perspectives that challenge us to think deeper and harder about solutions? Would you be more inclined to speak up and feel confident in yourself? What if multiple perspectives are the path forward instead of division or "beating" the competition into oblivion? Is this not a better, more scientific, more enlightened, more [[inclusive]], more loving, more godly, more self-actualizing, and more empowering path forward? Welcome to meta-modernity and the paradox that comes with it (e.g. a tribe against singular tribal thinking). We are happy to have you.
